Weekend Update

I barely remember what I did this weekend.

Friday- Seabass cooked up some bratwurst and spaetzle.
If anything else happened, I haven’t a clue about it. I probably passed out from the bratwurst bricking down into my stomach.

Saturday:
I went to see He’s Just Not That Into You” with Tiffany.
WTF WAS THIS MOVIE?!?!
lots of pretty people but it was generally just a terrible movie. good thing we only paid 4 bucks.
Also there was some random dude sitting behind us, alone, and laughing at the most UNfunny times. Bizarre.

After Tiffany time, I eventually went shopping for a million years to basically replenish my wardrobe.
I have admittedly been in total denial about my weight gain so I figured I would just lose the weight and then buy all new clothes…
Well I am sick of dressing overly casual at work- and I really do not own any sophisticated clothing so I bit the bullet and shopped for “teacher clothes” as Crystal used to call them.
Oh and be proud of me because I totally bought a pair of pants.
If you know me, you probably have noticed that I rarely (if ever) wear pants.
baby steps.

After dropping major moneys I met up with the seabass and went to Miyako.
$5 sushi rolls = heaven.
Their Philadelphia roll is probably the best that I’ve had so far in my sushi obsession journey.
Afterward I bought a pair of Clark’s at Marshalls. I also bought a purse only because it is turquoise.

-Oh and at some point I made some Kurt Vonnegut face earrings. Pics later.

Sunday:
I studied almost all day- at some point I went to Lauren’s for the girl party (aka taco party).
I stayed for exactly 3 beers and then tried to study while tipsy. It didn’t really work out too well.
Then I just watched the grammys while playing fetch with Buffy Champagne.

Now I’m at work trying to think of anything to do other than study.

Today:
I tried Soma for lunch. I say a thumbs down for price and for everything except for the phoenix roll. it was AIIIIGHT.
