this week has been pretty nonstop crazy- so it’s a bit of a kickoff to the new year- and school semester…
along with a new era of NONBUSH!!
here is this week’s installment of RIGHT NOW:

GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could not figure out what was more exciting about Tuesday….
the fact that Bush is forever no longer president…
or that Barack Obama is the one to replace him…
I can only hope that Dick Cheney and/or Bush decide to go to Germany or somewhere that would have the balls to arrest them for war crimes. Henry Kissinger can’t leave the country for that very reason.

hipsterrunoff at its best.

look at all of those cellphones/cameras being held up in the audience!!!!
Beyonce is in the background on her little island of a stage.
(dont hate… i love beyonce)

Brian Formhals photography.
I LOVE HIS WORK!!! click on the picture for his website.
It is very random but beautiful.

If you have seen the cover of the “book”- you may have noticed that it is a sculpture of an angel by Bernini.
Every journal I have kept since 2004ish has had the front cover decorated by a sculpture done by Bernini.
I felt that the only thing I really could put on the cover of a book chronicling my journal entries would be another sculpture.
If you are not familar with his work I would highly suggest googling him!
(googling is such a weird word!)
on a side note: i used to wonder what compelled people to become priests or nuns and live a life of celibacy and poverty in service of God.
It seemed bizarre to me that anyone would be that selfless.
Now I understand. I have no idea how or why that changed but for some reason now I wonder what it would be like to join a convent.
I guess if this thing doesnt work out with the bf- you never know.
I highly doubt I would ever be able to give up everything for a convent but thinking about it is good food for thought.
