This weekend wasn’t quite as hectic as I had anticipated- which was a relief.
On Friday, I met up with Dannielle to go shopping for a dress for her to wear to the ballet and we ended up at a total of two stores.
I bought a wallet that I have already ignored and buried under things on my messy couch.
It might be making a journey back to the store next week (even though it’s totally cute)

On Saturday, I spent pretty much the entire day with the boyfriend.
We went to the galleria (on probably the worst day to go there aside from black friday)-
apparently saturday was my lucky day because all of this lucky stuff kept happening.
We immediately found a front row parking spot in the parking garage that was like 20 feet from the mall entrance-
trust me the galleria is HUGE and its a miracle if you park even remotely close to an entrance let alone on the same level as one.
Anyway- I had my delicious mall pretzel (i’m a tad obsessed)
I purchased a few last minute gifts, a weird green nail polish from UO, and a zebra print deep v shortsleeve cardigan from Charlotte Russe.
We went to academy afterward so Bastian could buy some stuff- and my dad ended up calling me asking me which elliptical machine I wanted (he was at academy also but on the Eastside of town).
I am very excited about my most practical and necessary gift (the elliptical)!
After shopping, we went to the Black Labrador and I had some very bland English food-
If I go there again I am sticking with the soup!!!!

Sunday, I went ice skating outdoors in downtown Houston with Dannielle, Paige, Candace, and Dannie Pants. My god- was it ever more trouble than it was worth… but I am glad I got to ice skate outside for once. Paige is 7 years old and had never ice skated before which proved to be a bit of a problem for her. I honestly think she was so paralyzed by fear that she couldn’t control her balance.
Right after that I raced over to the Japanese Gardens near Hermann park to meet up with Geoffrey, his sister Sarah, his best friend from the Navy, and his dad. Sarah was completely drunk- which is a rare sight- and kept locking arms with me and giggling. She is hilarious when she’s like that because usually she is pretty reserved and “refined”. Apparently everyone in their group was pretty loopy from the sauce- which proved to be an entertaining trek through the park.

That night I met up with Reeda and her friend Kenneth for our Christmas dinner at Ziggy’s. We exchanged gifts and chowed down.
I got Reeda a Juicy Couture perfume in travel roll-on form and an owl key topper (she loves owls). She got me some lotions, body washes, some rose salve, and some lip gloss.
I ended up grandma-ing out and went home at 9pm to ensure my proper bedtime.
Last night, I had another christmas dinner with Angela and Tiffy (and Bastian) at PF Changs. They had never eaten there before so I wanted to make sure they tasted the lettuce wraps. They probably have the best margaritas ever because mine was DELICIO!
(expensive though)
I got Angela the chococat contact case and for Tiffany two key toppers- one with a lucky cat (she likes those!) and a japanese koi. Tiffany got me this turquoise broach pin she got from etsy and Angela got me some muppets ornaments (one miss piggy and one kermit).
That dinner was so good- I’m glad we picked PF Changs for our dinner.
Tonight is another Christmas dinner- This time it will be with Geoffrey and the rest of the Adlemans and possibly with John Memmer (whom is also in town from out of state).
Tomorrow of course is Christmas Eve and I work a half day…. then my vacay begins.
