I apologize in advance for the bombardment of images…
I fully understand that some people have dial-up connections-
so I am limiting these installments to 8 images each week.
(You’re Welcome.)
Also, I decided to add context to some of these images….
With that- I give you this week’s installment of RIGHT NOW:

Bruce Nauman- “100 Fish Fountain”
(I wrote a paper on Bruce Nauman and his similarities to Marcel Duchamp. I got a 105 and the professor kept a copy of my paper. That was one of my defining moments as an art history undergrad)
-
-

Marcel Ducamp’s installation of “Miles of String” at the First Papers of Surrealism Exhibit that he curated for Andre Breton in 1942.
(conceptual art- by the curator!!!! at times blocking the patron from viewing the art)
-
-

Marcel Duchamp- in drag- as his alter-ego: “Rose Selavy”
(Rose Selavy is a double entendre in French….- “eros- c’est la vie”/”Love- Such is Life….. or “arroser la vie”/”to make a toast to life”).
-
-
Selena (R.I.P.)
-
-

The Beastie Boys-
(I saved every clipping I could find of the Beastie Boys and I would plaster them all over my walls. I still have some of those clippings in my mother’s garage)
-
-

The back of Rancid- Let’s Go
(I had this photograph as a poster hanging in my room for years upon years. I was in love with Tim Armstrong at the time. These days I never listen to Rancid because well I dont really like their music anymore, but this image is very representative of my years in junior high. I still like it for some reason.)

A Panda with a stuffed panda bear.
-
-

Leather Daddy.
(I should mention that I found a tumblr blog of just arrested development stills… so expect lots of these haha)
