Bastian’s mother is now coming in JUNE!
All of that wound up nervousness immediately deflated!
JUBILATION!
(so now his dad is coming here in May and his mom the next month. at least its not during the already stressful holidays)

Tonight I am going shopping with the D-Train Dannielle -
The only problem with this is that Dannielle is one of the two people for which I need to buy a present.
I am terrible at that whole “sneaky buy the gift while they are on the other side of store” thing… so I do not think I will attempt it.

I was out of commission yesterday (no posts) because I was struck down by a massive migraine
so I went home at lunchtime and slept for 6 hours. Honestly, I do not feel too great right now but I am surviving.
My boss was not even in the office yesterday and we had a bit of a phone crisis (the phone is a VERY important artery for my place of business)
It was up to me to figure out what was wrong with it- and I had to call a contractor and the phone service to figure it out.
Turns out it was 3 seperate lines and we finally got it all worked out this morning.

At one point on Wednesday, I messaged John Joseph (I am reading his book, if you don’t already know) about what I thought so far about his book (I’m about 75% through it). I actually got a response back and I felt pretty redeemed by that. I am not sure why but it is validating to some degree that he read the response and didnt just send back some canned response.

I also wrote to C.D. Payne a month or two back about Revolting Youth- of course that message was more of me venting my frustration with the book and I honeslty asked him if I would be disappointed in the last and final book following the book I had just finished. His response sounded like he had heard my complaints from others- and that the last book brings it on home. I hope he was being honest and not trying to me the last book. Well it worked and I’ll be reading that book as soon as I am done with Evolution of a Cro-Magnon.

I get to see all of my best friends at least once before Christmas which is a blessing.
I know its weird to have like 5 best friends but thats how it works out- especially since only a couple of them actually hang out with one another- otherwise my worlds rarely collide. Just like the old days.
